Marking Time

at the Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival

Marking Time considers the mystery of time and its passing with three recent works from the Company and a new piece from mother and child dancers/choreographers Erica and Ruby Hagen.

 

Presented as part of the Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival.

 

The Program:

 

Luminous Phenomena - Along the Way features 5 dancers with original live and recorded music by keyboardist Jessica Krash.

 

Bona Fides is a celebration of female kinship and tea rituals, accompanied by Anthony Hyatt on violin.

 

Placehold is a dance/music improvisation by the NHDPG dancers and musicians Rich O'Meara (percussion and found instruments) and Gary Rouzer (cello and found instruments).

 

Child's Play: a game of follow the leader between dancer/choreographer  Erica Hagen and her one year old daughter Ruby raises the question of who is leading whom.
